7 billion in ticket sales; Galileo remains the leader

According to cinemadrame, the General Directorate of Performing Arts has released the monthly sales figures and audience numbers for performances at the Tadris Theatre Complex, the Art Hall, and the Sanglaj Theatre (including full-price, half-price, discounted, and guest tickets) until the end of Friday, July 6, 2024.

The play Galileo, directed by Shahaboddin Hosseinpour, which began performances on April 17 in the Main Hall with a capacity of 579 seats and ticket prices of 300,000 tomans, has held 50 performances and hosted 19,940 audience members, achieving a total revenue of 4,804,480,000 tomans.

Toov, directed by Mohammadmatin Ojiani, which started its run on May 28 at the Four-Sided Hall with a capacity of 132 and ticket prices of 170,000 tomans, has held 23 performances, with 1,442 audience members, generating 206,210,000 tomans in sales.

Untold Stories of Eight Years of Womanhood, directed by Somayeh Abadeh, began performances on June 14 at the Qashqai Hall at 6:15 PM, with a capacity of 96 and ticket prices of 160,000 tomans. With 14 performances and 712 audience members, it reached a total revenue of 83,296,000 tomans.

Khoresht Khon (Blood Stew), directed by Morteza Amini Pour, as the second performance at Qashqai Hall, started on June 15 with ticket prices of 170,000 tomans and hosted 802 audience members, generating 105,723,000 tomans in sales.

Poodah Khaharan (The Earth Eaters), directed by Amir Shafiei, began on June 18 at the Saye Hall with a capacity of 72 and ticket prices of 140,000 tomans. With 15 performances and 337 audience members, the sales amounted to 26,124,000 tomans.

At the Sanglaj Theatre, Mobarakeh and Khatoon Parde-Nashin (Blessed and the Curtain-Dwelling Lady), directed by Ali Tarabi, began on June 11. With 22 performances, it hosted 2,433 spectators, generating 103,316,000 tomans in sales with a ticket price of 120,000 tomans.

At the Art Hall, Bache-Gorib Estesnaei (The Exceptional Little Wolf), directed by Matin Hosseini Pour, began on May 30, with a capacity of 244 and ticket prices of 110,000 tomans. After 25 performances and attracting 2,962 spectators, it concluded with 238,348,000 tomans in sales.
