Trump: Beyoncé and Oprah Winfrey Broke the Law by Accepting Money from Kamala Harris

According to CinemaDrame news agency, Former U.S. President Donald Trump has accused Kamala Harris of purchasing the support of several celebrities—including Beyoncé and Oprah Winfrey—during last year’s presidential election by paying them.

On his social media platform Truth Social, Trump wrote: “Look at the amount of money the Democrats have, after the presidential election, and the fact that they have admitted to making these payments—possibly illegally. They paid $11 million to singer Beyoncé for her support (she didn’t even sing a song and left the stage amid the uproar of an angry crowd!), $3 million in ‘fees’ to Oprah, $600,000 to a little-watched TV host named Al Sharpton (a minor figure!), and others—to do absolutely nothing!”

Trump went on to say that there is documented evidence for all these payments: “You are not allowed to pay someone for their endorsement. It’s completely illegal. Can you imagine what would happen if politicians paid people for their support? All hell would break loose. Kamala and everyone who accepted money broke the law. They must be prosecuted! Thank you for your attention.”

The Washington Examiner previously reported that Harris’s campaign paid Oprah’s company $1 million on October 15, but in November, Winfrey denied the claim. Last September, Winfrey sat down for an interview with Harris.

Other celebrities who endorsed Harris included George Clooney, Billie Eilish, Bryan Cranston, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lawrence, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lopez, Robert De Niro, and Ben Stiller.

Trump had previously called for a “thorough investigation” into payments made to celebrities. One such celebrity was Bruce Springsteen, who criticized Trump’s administration as “corrupt, incompetent, and untrustworthy” during a concert outside the United States. In response, Trump called Springsteen “a hateful idiot” in a statement.
