Documentary “Tank Hunter” Features Martyr Mohammad Ali Safa

According to cinemadrame news agency, Tahereh Shaddel, a program producer from North Khorasan, has reached the final stage of the fourth Pejvak Radio Festival in the competition section – Lifestyle and Strengthening Family Foundations – with her work “Tank Hunter.” She stated about her work: “In an interview with the wife of Martyr Mohammad Ali Safa, I realized that the martyr was very involved with his family, and family was very important to him. Of course, the martyr’s wife was also always and everywhere by his side.”

She continued: “Tank Hunter” looks at the family life of one of the martyred commanders of the Sacred Defense and the influence of family on one’s life path and character development. Therefore, I produced a documentary drama in the form of interviews with the martyr’s family members. Martyr Mohammad Ali Safa was an army marine commando who participated in the defense of Khorramshahr alongside Mohammad Jahanara and was martyred.

This radio producer noted: “Martyr Safa earned the nickname ‘Tank Hunter.’ Furthermore, in this work, we explored the special, unique, and loving relationship between the martyr and his wife. We also interviewed the martyr’s brothers, colleagues, and comrades-in-arms. Given the martyr’s wife’s reluctance to participate in the program and have her voice broadcast, we reconstructed these aspects in a dramatic format. As program producers, we are obliged to address the Iranian-Islamic lifestyle of great figures so that we can transfer suitable role models to the youth.”
