Brad Pitt Demands Release of Angelina Jolie’s Private Messages

According to Cinemadrame News Agency, Brad Pitt has requested access to the private messages of his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie. Us Weekly reports that the legal dispute between the two over the Château Miraval vineyard in France is ongoing and entering a new phase.

The stars of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” purchased the vineyard during their marriage. Jolie filed for divorce in 2016 and, five years later, sold her shares to a Russian oligarch. Pitt claims that Jolie sold her shares without his knowledge, contrary to their agreement. He is now demanding the release of private messages exchanged between her and Alexei Oleynik.

The case has been filed in California, and Pitt faces a significant challenge given that Oleynik resides in Switzerland and is unwilling to release the messages. The court proceedings for this case have not yet begun, but Pitt filed his complaint in 2022.

Jolie states that she refused to sell her shares of the vineyard to Pitt for his offered price of $55.4 million because the “F1” actor intended to conceal “years of misconduct” by including a non-disclosure clause.
