Bryan Cranston Says He Won’t Return to Filming “Lone Wolf” Until All Crew Members Are Paid

According to cinemadrame News Agency, Bryan Cranston, the actor from the series “Breaking Bad,” has responded to the behind-the-scenes controversies of the film “Lone Wolf” with a statement. He announced that he will not return for filming or marketing until all cast and crew members have been fully paid.
Cranston, who has already received his own payment, stated that he is “disturbed” by the non-payment of the crew and has spoken with several of his co-stars. It was previously reported that the producers need nearly two million dollars to pay all the crew, and filming has not yet been completed.
One of the film’s investors told Deadline that they haven’t seen anything like this in two decades, although incomplete funding for independent projects is not uncommon. However, it’s rare for a project of the caliber of “Lone Wolf,” starring an actor like Bryan Cranston and Lily Gladstone, the Oscar-nominated actress from “Killers of the Flower Moon,” to encounter financial problems.
The film’s story is about a veteran, played by Gladstone, who is battling addiction. She is hired by a man, played by Cranston, to assassinate a high-ranking official in a political conspiracy. After realizing she’s set to be punished, the woman must use all her abilities to protect her son’s future. Mark Pellington, who directed “Arlington Road,” is the director, and Tom Chilcoat wrote the screenplay.
Other cast members include O’Shea Jackson Jr., Jennifer Ehle, Chet Hanks, and Spencer Garrett. Veterans Christine Vachon and Ted Hope are the film’s producers.
Cranston says he is “sorry” that the producers haven’t paid the film’s crew on time, but he believes that this “difficult period” will soon pass.
