The series Resident Alien canceled after four seasons on USA Network
According to CinemaDrame news agency, USA Network has announced that the series Resident Alien will be canceled after four seasons. The final three episodes of this season have yet to air.
This sci-fi series originally premiered in 2021 on Syfy and, after three seasons, moved to USA Network.
Showrunner and creator Chris Sheridan told TV Insider: “I knew going in that this might be our last season. It was artistically exciting because I knew I’d be spending time wrapping up storylines and moving toward a conclusion. I’m proud of the quality of season four and especially that we were able to end strongly with an episode that might be, to me, the best of the series.”
Sheridan promises the final episode of season four will have “a very satisfying ending” while also “leaving the door open for any future this world might have.”
Alan Tudyk stars in Resident Alien as an alien tasked with destroying humanity on Earth. Other cast members include Sara Tomko, Corey Reynolds, Alice Wetterlund, Levi Fiehler, Elizabeth Bowen, Judah Prehn, and Meredith Garretson.
The series finale will air on August 8.
