“Anarchy” at Spanish Festival
According to CinemaDrame news agency, The short film “Anarchy,” written and directed by Majid Kazemi, has been selected for the competition section of the Vinaròs International Film Festival in Spain.
The short film “Anarchy,” written and directed by Majid Kazemi, produced by Roham Rasouli and the Iranian Youth Cinema Society, has made its way to the competition section of the 24th Vinaròs International Film Festival in Spain.
The Vinaròs Film Festival is a significant cultural and social event in Spain, greatly contributing to the preservation of local heritage and attracting tourists. The winning film in the competition section will receive a unique Vinaròs statue in addition to a 1,000 Euro prize.
The 24th edition of this festival will be held on July 21 and 22, 2025 (July 30 and 31, 1404 in the Persian calendar) in Spain.
“Anarchy” has previously been selected for the international competition section of the 37th FIFAC Festival in Tunisia, the 24th Camera Zizanio Film Festival in Greece, the 21st Simfest Festival in Romania, and the 12th Open Air Film Festival in Albania.
The synopsis of the short film states: A single (independent) mother faces difficulties when trying to enroll her son in a new school and decides to confront them.
Mohammad Jahanpa and Mohaddeseh Hesami star in the short film, and its international distribution is handled by Varkana Productions, managed by Roham Rasouli.
