Anthony Hopkins Looks “10 Years Younger” with Kim Kardashian’s New Skims Product
According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Anthony Hopkins surprised his fans by wearing the latest product from Kim Kardashian’s Skims line. The legendary actor shared an Instagram video recommending Kardashian’s “Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap,” even likening himself to Hannibal Lecter, the serial killer from the film The Silence of the Lambs. Hopkins won an Oscar for his performance in that 1991 release.
The 87-year-old British actor appears in the video wearing a colorful shirt and the face wrap—which covers his chin, neck, and ears—and addresses the camera: “Hello, Kim, I feel 10 years younger already. Thank you, Kim.” Alongside the video, he writes: “If you want to come to dinner, don’t be afraid.”
Hopkins played the role of Hannibal Lecter opposite Jodie Foster’s Clarice Starling. In one of the film’s most famous scenes, Lecter tells Starling: “A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti.” At the end of the film, he tells Starling that he is “having an old friend for dinner.”
Hopkins’ video has attracted more than 11 million viewers and elicited reactions from several actors. Gwyneth Paltrow commented “Genius,” while Michael Beach wrote: “An amazing actor with a great sense of humor!”
Amanda Abbington, known for the series Sherlock, added that Hopkins is a “true legend,” while Kardashian herself reposted the video as a story, saying she “screamed” when she saw it.
The Skims website states that the face wrap is made with “collagen fibers” and is designed for daily use. Kardashian founded Skims in 2019, and the company has since produced a wide range of undergarments.
