Billie Eilish Calls Israel’s Plans for Gaza “Horrifying”

According to Cinemadrame News Agency, Grammy-winning singer and actress Billie Eilish reacted on Instagram to an Israeli minister’s claim regarding the displacement of Gaza’s population. She shared a video of the Israeli defense minister’s statements, writing: “Horrifying.”
This marks the first time Eilish has openly reacted to the new phase of the Israel-Palestine conflict. She wore an Artists4Ceasefire pin at the 2024 Academy Awards ceremony.
The “Barbie” film singer also posted several other stories about Gaza, calling charities that have declared “Gaza wants clean water” as “heroes.”
Before Eilish, several other musicians, including Hans Zimmer, Lana Del Rey, Bob Vylan, Kneecap, Green Day, and Bono; actors such as Andrew Garfield, Liam Cunningham, Susan Sarandon, Melissa Barrera, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Maisie Williams, Javier Bardem, Jenna Ortega, Nicola Coughlan, Aimee Lou Wood, Rachel Zegler, Mark Ruffalo, and John Cusack; and filmmakers like Jonathan Glazer and Pedro Almodóvar had expressed support for Palestine.
