Ebon Moss-Bachrach: If I Had The Thing’s Powers, I’d Send a Few Fascists into Space

According to Cinemadrame News Agency, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, the actor from the series The Bear who plays “The Thing” in Marvel Studios’ superhero film Fantastic Four: First Steps, answered in an interview with IMDb what he would do if he had his character’s powers.

Moss-Bachrach said:
“We’ve got a few fascists I’d like to launch into space.”
His response delighted Pedro Pascal, who plays “Mr. Fantastic”:
“I’d do the same thing.”
The story of Fantastic Four: First Steps is set in a retro-futuristic 1960s, where the Fantastic Four are astronauts preparing for a space mission. In this film, Pedro Pascal stars as “Mister Fantastic” or “Reed Richards,” Joseph Quinn as “Johnny Storm,” Vanessa Kirby as “Sue Storm” or “The Invisible Woman,” Ebon Moss-Bachrach as “Ben Grimm” or “The Thing,” Julia Garner as “Shalla-Bal,” Paul Walter Hauser as “The Mole Man,” and “The Green Knight” plays the supervillain “Galactus.”
In another part of the interview, the cast was asked which of the characters could be a chef in the world of The Bear. Moss-Bachrach replied:
“Without a doubt, I cook more than anyone else.”
