Filming Begins on Chris Rock’s Misty Green Starring Adam Driver and Slow Horses Actress
According to Cinemadrame News Agency, Rosalind Eleazar, star of the series Slow Horses, will play the lead role in Chris Rock’s new film for A24. She will appear as the titular character “Misty Green” in this project, which is written and directed by Chris Rock.
Other cast members joining the film include Adam Driver (of Megalopolis), Daniel Kaluuya (of Judas and the Black Messiah), and Anna Kendrick (of Another Simple Favor).
The film, which is being shot in Los Angeles, tells the story of a talented actress named Misty Green who is trying to revive her career.
Rosalind Eleazar is best known for her role as “Louisa Guy” in the Emmy-winning Apple TV+ series Slow Horses, and was recently seen in Netflix’s thriller Missing You. Other notable credits for the British actress include the miniseries Howards End (with Matthew Macfadyen and Hayley Atwell) and Armando Iannucci’s The Personal History of David Copperfield.
Adam Driver starred two years ago in Michael Mann’s Ferrari and last year in Megalopolis, and will soon appear at the Venice Film Festival in Jim Jarmusch’s Father Mother Sister Brother. He has finished filming Paper Tiger, directed by James Gray and starring Scarlett Johansson and Miles Teller, and will be seen in Apple’s series The Dealer opposite Jessica Chastain.
Daniel Kaluuya won an Oscar for Judas and the Black Messiah and has since appeared in Jordan Peele’s Nope and the animated film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Anna Kendrick recently starred in Amazon MGM’s Another Simple Favor alongside Blake Lively and made her feature directorial debut with Netflix’s Woman of the Hour.
