First Images of Colin Farrell in “The Ballad Of A Small Player” Revealed

According to cinemadrame news agency, the first images of Colin Farrell in “The Ballad Of A Small Player,” directed by Edward Berger, have been unveiled. Netflix announced with the release of these images that Berger’s latest work will have a limited theatrical release in the US on October 15 and will be available to subscribers on October 29.

The film’s story is about a gambler who decides to go into hiding in Macau after accumulating debt. Along the way, he encounters someone who might hold the key to his redemption. Other cast members include Chinese-American actress Fala Chen (“Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”), Deanie Ip (“A Simple Life”), BAFTA nominee Alex Jennings, and Oscar winner Tilda Swinton.

In this film, Berger has once again collaborated with cinematographer James Friend, composer Volker Bertelmann, makeup artist Heike Merker, and costume designer Lisy Christl, all from “All Quiet On The Western Front.” Nick Emerson, who was nominated for an Oscar for “Conclave,” has also joined this project.
