First Poster for Fallout Season Two

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, the first poster for Season Two of Fallout has been unveiled by IGN. With the release of this poster, Amazon confirms that Season Two will premiere in December. Filming wrapped last spring, and just days later, the series was renewed for a third season.

The story of Fallout Season Two is set in New Vegas and follows the characters Lucy MacLean, The Ghoul, Maximus, and Dogmeat in and around the city.

Based on the video game of the same name, the series follows Vault Dweller in a post-apocalyptic world—an inhabitant of Vault 13, one of several shelters built in Southern California for survivors of a nuclear war. Lucy, played by Ella Purnell, is one of the main characters. Having spent her entire life in a vault, she is forced into a rescue mission by a sudden crisis, only to discover that the planet has become a hellscape filled with giant insects and various mutated creatures.

Showrunners Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet said in April last year that the story of Season Two takes place 15 years after the events of the Fallout: New Vegas video game, and viewers should not expect the same storyline:

“With the post-credit scenes, we wanted to make it clear: folks, the world has moved forward, and the idea that the wasteland hasn’t changed a decade later is, in our view, ridiculous.”

The showrunners also confirmed that the character of Mr. House, or Robert House, will appear in Season Two:

“Las Vegas in the world of Fallout is Robert House’s city.”
