First Teaser for Pixar’s Animated Film “Hoppers” Unveiled

According to cinemadrame News Agency, The teaser for Disney and Pixar’s animated film “Hoppers,” featuring the voice of Jon Hamm from the series “Mad Men,” has been unveiled. Daniel Chong, who was a storyboard artist for films like “Bolt,” “Cars 2,” and “Inside Out,” directed this film.

The story is about a young girl who can transfer her mind into a mechanical beaver. The girl meets a beaver named King George, and with his help and other animals, they must thwart real estate development plans. Hamm plays a greedy mayor, and former Disney Channel actress Piper Curda will voice Mabel. Bobby Moynihan, who voiced a character in “Inside Out 2,” also has a role.

Chong says about the film: “In Hoppers, the question we ask is: ‘What if we could connect with and understand the animals of the world?’ Our main character, Mabel, discovers the animal kingdom as an animal, which can be strange and often ridiculous. Mabel’s secret entry into the animal world leads to a tumultuous and exciting adventure that is expected from Pixar films.”

In recent years, Pixar experienced several commercial failures with films like “Lightyear,” “Turning Red,” and “Luca.” While “Inside Out 2” revitalized the studio, they recently returned to a downward trend with the film “Elio,” featuring the voices of America Ferrera and Jameela Jamil.

“Hoppers” is scheduled to be released on March 6, 2026.
