First Trailer for Long Story Short: New Series from BoJack Horseman Creator Unveiled
According to Cinemadrame News Agency, Netflix has unveiled the first official trailer for the animated comedy series Long Story Short, written by Raphael Bob-Waksberg, creator of BoJack Horseman. The voice cast includes Max Greenfield, Abbi Jacobson, Ben Feldman, and Paul Reiser.
The series centers on a family, their shared history, family jokes, and old wounds. According to the creators: “If you’ve ever had a mother, father, sister or brother, spouse or child, this show is for you—and by the way, if you call them, you die?” The story follows three siblings—Avi, Shira, and Yoshi—whose lives are full of chaos. The trailer shows Shira asking Avi to be her friend’s sperm donor.
Bob-Waksberg serves as writer, showrunner, and executive producer alongside Noel Bright and Steven A. Cohen. Long Story Short is produced by Tornante Company and ShadowMachine, the studios behind BoJack Horseman.
Netflix has already ordered a second season of Long Story Short, but the first season will premiere on August 22.
