First Trailer for Season 5 of Only Murders in the Building
According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Hulu has unveiled the first trailer for Season 5 of Only Murders in the Building. This season of the comedy series starring Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short will premiere on September 9.
Season 4 of Only Murders in the Building, which aired in 2024, featured Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez alongside Meryl Streep, Eugene Levy, Zach Galifianakis, Eva Longoria, Jane Lynch, Melissa McCarthy, Kumail Nanjiani, and Molly Shannon in additional roles.
It was previously reported that Christoph Waltz, Renée Zellweger, Beanie Feldstein, Dianne Wiest, Logan Lerman, and Keegan-Michael Key will appear in Season 5. Téa Leoni, who made a brief appearance in the closing moments of Season 4, also joins the cast, portraying Sophia Cacchimilieu, the wife of Nicky Cacchimilieu, who has ties to the criminal Caputo family and has gone missing.
In the final episode of Season 4, Charles-Haden Savage (played by Steve Martin), Oliver Putnam (Martin Short), and Mabel (Selena Gomez) discover a new victim named Lester Kloka (played by Teddy Kloka) near the Arconia.
The Season 5 trailer reveals that police have ruled Lester’s death an accident, but Charles, Oliver, and Mabel question everything as they set out to solve the mystery. Their investigation uncovers a web of sinister secrets surrounding billionaires and criminals.
The first three episodes of Season 5 of Only Murders in the Building, written by Steve Martin and John Hoffman, will premiere on September 9.
