First Trailer Released for Nuremberg Starring Russell Crowe and Rami Malek

According to Cinemadrame News Agency, The first trailer for the historical drama Nuremberg, starring Russell Crowe (Gladiator) and Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody), has been unveiled. James Vanderbilt, known for his work on Zodiac, directs the film.
Nuremberg is adapted from the book The Nazi and the Psychiatrist, and follows psychiatrist Douglas Kelley, played by Malek, who is tasked with determining whether the Nazi prisoners are competent and prepared to stand trial. However, he finds himself embroiled in a complex struggle with Hermann Göring, Hitler’s right-hand man, played by Crowe. Michael Shannon (Nocturnal Animals) plays Robert H. Jackson, Chief Justice and chief prosecutor of the Nuremberg trials. The film also features Richard E. Grant, Colin Hanks, John Slattery, and Leo Woodall.
In an interview with Deadline, Vanderbilt remarked that, “unfortunately,” the film’s story is more timely than ever: “But what fascinates me about the story is its timelessness. It’s like the old saying: those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. The easiest way to harm others is to see them as outsiders—different from ourselves. We assume they put on Nazi uniforms and declare themselves the villains, but that’s not how the world works. Horrific events don’t unfold that way.”
Nuremberg will be released on November 7.
