Ghazaleh Nahbani’s Book Titled “Love, Woman, Middle East” Released to Book Market

According to the Cinemadrame News Agency, Ghazaleh Nahbani, a poet from Khuzestan, has released her collection of haikus in a book titled Love, Woman, Middle East.

In an interview, Ghazaleh Nahbani stated: “This haiku collection is an experience of humanity’s external and internal worlds within the context of the Middle East; a world where woman, love, and war coexist.”

She continued: “In this book, the haikus, with concise language and penetrating imagery, recount moments of life that sometimes culminate in the silence of a loving gaze and sometimes in the rubble of an explosion.”

Nahbani stated: “Within these short pieces, the image of woman is portrayed not only as a beloved but also as a narrator, victim, hero, and guardian of a land’s memories.”

The poet and translator added: “Love flows like a fleeting yet profound breeze amidst the words, while war casts its shadow over every moment.”

She said: “Alongside a wide range of topics, the three themes of woman, love, and the Middle East have a more prominent and striking presence.”

The haiku collection Love, Woman, Middle East has been placed on bookstore shelves by Shalgarad Publications for 150,000 Tomans.

Previously, Ghazaleh Nahbani’s Arabic poetry collection Rasa’el Lam Torsal (Letters Not Sent), and her translations of the novels Sa’ati Mande Be Payan Zaman (An Hour Left to the End of Time) by Naguib Mahfouz and Divan-e Sparti (The Spartan Divan) by Abdelwahab Issaoui, have been published.
