Guillermo del Toro to Make The Boy in the Iron Box for Netflix

According to the CinemaDrame News Agency, Netflix and Guillermo del Toro will collaborate once again on the film The Boy in the Iron Box, based on the short novels by Chuck Hogan, following their work on Frankenstein and Pinocchio. Vance on Netflix has reported that filming for this movie will begin in October of this year.
The story follows a group of soldiers whose plane crashes in a remote, snowy area. To escape wolves and the biting wind, they find refuge only in a labyrinthine stone fortress. The fortress is more like a trap, and what they discover takes their breath away, beginning a battle for survival.
Sources from Vance on Netflix say the project will be made as a feature film, not a series. Del Toro and Hogan previously collaborated on the trilogy The Strain and The Hollow Ones.
Netflix will release Frankenstein next November, starring Jacob Elordi as the monster and Oscar Isaac as Victor Frankenstein.
