Hans Zimmer’s Composition for Euphoria Season 3

According to CinemaDrame news agency, Sam Levinson has revealed that while writing the scripts for Euphoria’s third season, he listened to Hans Zimmer’s scores for Interstellar and True Romance, which led him to entrust the series’ composition to Zimmer.
In Season 3, Hans Zimmer collaborates with British artist Labrinth, who composed the music for the first two seasons. The third season is currently in production.
Zendaya, Maude Apatow, Eric Dane, Hunter Schafer, Demi, Jacob Elordi, and Sydney Sweeney reprise their roles, while Sharon Stone, Lucy Punch, Rosalía, Marchán Lynch, Kadim Harrison, and Asante Black are new additions to the cast.
The first season aired in 2019, and producing the second season faced many challenges due to the pandemic. Filmed in Los Angeles, Season 3 follows the characters as they step out of high school for the first time, with a five-year time jump in the storyline.
Zimmer stated in a release: “It is a great honor to join this team of storytellers led by Sam Levinson, who have created a bold and impactful series that holds deep value for its audience. Labrinth’s music has shaped the identity of the show, and I am eager to contribute to the story through music in this new season.”
Levinson said: “Working with Hans is truly an honor. I wrote this season while listening to the music of Interstellar and True Romance. From the start, he was part of the project’s artistic DNA. I am proud of the work Labrinth and I created in previous seasons and excited for Hans to take us to new heights.”
