Jamshid Hashempour at the Iranian Ethnic Festival.

According to CinemaDrame‘s report, at the closing ceremony of the Iranian Ethnic Film Festival, Jamshid Hashempour, the veteran actor of Iranian cinema, was honored with the Special Jury Award for a lifetime of artistic activity and his warm and sincere presence in the film “Maskh-e Narges” (The Transformation of Narges). The award was presented in the presence of Abolfazl Jalili, Mahmoud Kalari, and Reza Naji.

“Maskh-e Narges” was one of the 16 films in the Iranian Cinema section of the first edition of the National Iranian Ethnic Film Festival. In this section, Shahin Babapour, on behalf of Hashemipour, took the stage and conveyed the following message from him: “I would like to thank all the people of Iran for their support over the 50 years I have spent in Iranian cinema.”
