“Kat” Selected for the Portobello London Festival

The short film “Kat”, the first work of Saba Amiri and Peyman Ezati, produced by Saeed Amiri, has been selected for the 29th edition of the Portobello London Festival.

According to cinemadrame, the short film “Kat”, written by Peyman Ezati, produced by Saeed Amiri, and co-directed by Saba Amiri and Peyman Ezati, has been selected for the 29th edition of the Portobello London Festival.

This event is the largest independent film festival in the UK, held annually in Notting Hill, London. Its main goal is to support emerging and independent filmmakers.

The 29th edition of the festival will take place from August 29 to September 15, corresponding to September 8 to 25, 2024, in London.

Amirali Ghadami and Saba Amiri are the actors in this short film.

The plot summary of the film is as follows: “The niece of Samira’s ex-fiancé arrives at her house, and this presence forces Samira to do something that…”

The international distribution of the film is managed by Simorgh Film Distribution, led by Amirhossein Hatami.
