Liam Neeson: “Madly in Love” with Pamela Anderson
According to CinemaDrame news agency, 72-year-old Irish actor Liam Neeson says he “fell madly in love” with his 57-year-old co-star Pamela Anderson after filming “Naked Gun.”
In this reboot, Neeson plays Frank Drebin Jr., the son of Detective Frank Drebin. Paul Walter Hauser, Kevin Durand, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy, and Eddie Yoo will also star in the film.
The Taken actor told People magazine: “Regarding Pamela, first of all, I have to say that I’m madly in love with her. It’s wonderful to work with her. To be honest, I don’t know how to praise her enough. She’s witty and very easy to act alongside.”
The former Playboy model has shared several photos of herself with Neeson on Instagram since filming wrapped. Anderson, who received positive reviews last year for her film The Last Showgirl, called Neeson “the perfect gentleman” and said he helped her deliver her “best” performance.
Neeson, however, denied rumors of a romantic relationship with Anderson, stating that he’s too old for dating. Anderson added that Neeson is “an eternal friend” to her: “Without a doubt, we have a connection that is very intimate and very lovely.”
Neeson’s wife, Natasha Richardson, passed away in 2009 from a brain hemorrhage. She felt unwell 45 minutes after hitting her head and was transferred to a New York hospital the following day. Neeson and Richardson married in 1994.
Naked Gun is set to be released on August 1st.
