Loopetou in Russia

According to Cinemadrame, the animated film Loopetou, directed by Abbas Asgari and produced by Mohammad Hossein Sadeghi, a product of the Sura Animation Center, is participating in the competitive section of the 20th Kazan International Film Festival in Russia.

The 20th edition of this festival will be held from September 6 to 11, 2024, corresponding to September 16 to 21 of this year, in the city of Kazan, Russia, with the theme “From Dialogue of Cultures to Culture of Dialogue.”

The festival’s goals include exchanging experiences between Russian and international artists, showcasing the best selected films with themes of kindness, peace, and justice, regardless of the writer’s religion, and highlighting the achievements of filmmakers who work to promote spiritual and cultural values through film.

The international distribution of this animated film is handled by the Sura International Center.
