Mohammad Taghi Ghiasi has passed away

According to cinemadrame, Mohammad Taghi Ghiasi, a literary critic and translator of French literature, passed away at the age of 92 in France.

In addition to his French-Persian dictionaries and educational books published for teaching French, Mohammad Taghi Ghiasi has an extensive portfolio of translations of works by French authors.

Among his translations are The Gods Are Thirsty by Anatole France, The Kill by Émile Zola, The Myth of Sisyphus by Albert Camus, The Holy Week by Louis Aragon, and The Genesis of Criticism by Lucien Goldman.
