Mojtaba Shafiei and Amir Ghafarmaneshe star in the play Single

According to cinemadrame and the public relations of the play, Single, written and directed by Mehdi Ziachamani, had more than 150 successful performances in Mashhad in 2022. Now, the play, directed by Mojtaba Shafiei, is being staged in Tehran.

Amir Ghafarmaneshe, a renowned actor in theater, cinema, and television, will perform alongside Mojtaba Shafiei in this play. Single marks Shafiei’s first experience as a theater director.

Ghafarmaneshe is currently featured in the popular film Blood Crocodile and has recently appeared in the successful plays Schizophrenia and Farewell Dinner. Now, he is returning to the stage with this new comedy.

Mojtaba Shafiei has previously been on stage with the plays Phoenix Orphanage, Pianistology, and Swan Lake at the Fajr International Theater Festival. His play iRock, starring him and Maral Farjad, was performed at the Trieste International Festival in Italy.

Masoud Hokm-Abadi serves as the producer, with Pouya Ghazi as the project manager and Ali Nasr as the production manager.
