New details about the Resistance Theater Festival
The organizing committee of the 19th International Resistance Theater Festival has announced the date for the final results of the stage competition section and reported receiving over 400 scripts submitted to the event’s secretariat.
According to cinemadrame, the organizing committee of the 19th International Resistance Theater Festival announced the receipt of 426 scripts for the stage competition section and specified the date for announcing the final results of the works that have been selected for this section.
In a statement released by the secretariat of the 19th International Resistance Theater Festival, it was stated:
“Due to the exceptional enthusiasm from theater artists to participate in the stage competition section of the 19th International Resistance Theater Festival, the secretariat of the festival, with appreciation for all the artists in this field, announces that due to the high volume of requests from artists and the receipt of 425 scripts at the festival’s secretariat despite the deadline for submissions not being extended, the results for this section will be announced to the participating groups on September 15, 2024, instead of the date mentioned in the call for entries.”
Since the announcement of the call for the stage competition section of the 19th International Resistance Theater Festival, artists from the provinces of East Azerbaijan (10 works), West Azerbaijan (13 works), Ardabil (5 works), Isfahan (33 works), Alborz (26 works), Ilam (4 works), Bushehr (15 works), Tehran (120 works), Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari (7 works), South Khorasan (1 work), North Khorasan (1 work), Razavi Khorasan (25 works), Khuzestan (25 works), Zanjan (2 works), Sistan and Baluchestan (3 works), Fars (25 works), Qazvin (11 works), Qom (7 works), Kurdistan (3 works), Kerman (4 works), Kermanshah (21 works), Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad (2 works), Golestan (7 works), Gilan (15 works), Lorestan (6 works), Mazandaran (6 works), Markazi (13 works), Hormozgan (1 work), and Hamadan (15 works) have submitted their works for this section.
The 19th International Resistance Theater Festival will be held in the fall and winter of 2024, under the leadership of Mohammad Kazem Taba, in Tehran and various cities across the country, welcoming audiences and participating artists.
