New Trailer and Poster for The Conjuring: Last Rites

According to Cinemadrame News Agency, Warner Bros. has unveiled a new trailer and poster for The Conjuring: Last Rites, the final installment in the Conjuring franchise. David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, who previously wrote The Conjuring 2 and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, penned the script for this film.
The Conjuring films follow the married couple Ed and Lorraine Warren—played by Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson—as they investigate supernatural cases. In this fourth installment, the Warrens take on a new case set in 1980s Pennsylvania. Ben Hardy and Mia Tomlinson also star in the film.
The first Conjuring (2013), produced by James Wan, grossed over $320 million worldwide, and its sequel (The Conjuring 2) surpassed $321.6 million. The third installment, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, which was released simultaneously in theaters and on HBO Max during the pandemic, grossed $24.1 million domestically in its opening week and ultimately reached $64.8 million. All films in the franchise—including Annabelle and The Nun—have collectively grossed over $2.1 billion worldwide.
The Conjuring: Last Rites will be released in US theaters on September 5.
