Production of the Documentary “Status: White” in Ravayat-e-Fath

According to cinemadrame, quoting the public relations department of the Ravayat-e-Fath Cultural Foundation, this documentary, directed by Mahdieh Najafi and produced by Mahdieh Najafi, presents an untold story of the production of the COVID-19 vaccine during the turbulent days of the pandemic. It highlights how, with domestic support and the efforts of Iranian young scientists and researchers, the vaccine reached the stages of human trials and mass production.

It is noteworthy that this documentary has been produced in line with the directives of the Supreme Leader regarding the artistic portrayal of the difficult days of the COVID-19 pandemic. In a video message to the National COVID-19 Headquarters on May 21, 2020, he stated:

“I wish that some people could narrate the great and collective jihad [during the COVID era] like Martyr Avini… just as Martyr Avini, with his sweet, beautiful, and impactful narration, was able to immortalize the details of the frontlines for us. I wish some could do this, both in speech, writing, and in artistic works and exhibitions.”
