Seven members of the Iranian Cinema Selection Committee for the 43rd Fajr Film Festival have been introduced, with Rana Azadivar’s name appearing among them.

According to Cinemadrame, by orders of Manouchehr Shahsavari, the festival secretary, seven members of the Iranian Cinema Selection Committee have been appointed.

Rana Azadivar (actress), Arash Khoshkhus (journalist and film critic), Saeed Saeili (writer, director, and producer), Monir Qidi (writer and director), Hossein Karami (cultural manager), Mahmoud Ghabrlou (media expert and film critic), and Mohammad Reza Misbah (producer) have started evaluating the works submitted to the festival’s secretariat in the Iranian Cinema section.

In the committee appointments, the festival secretary emphasized the importance of discovering new talents and the need to pay attention to the essence of Iranian culture, regional diversity, and the culture of the Revolution and Sacred Defense.

The 43rd Fajr Film Festival, chaired by Manouchehr Shahsavari, will be held in February this year.
