According to CinamaDrame News Agency, the extension of the play “We Need a Simple Killer,” the continuation of the play “Bendar Bidakhsh’s Record” at Labkhand Theater Complex, the announcement of new programs at Noufel Lochateau Mansion, the tour of “Fin Jin” in northern Iran, and more, are among the latest theatrical news.

“Bendar Bidakhsh’s Record” Returns to Stage

The play “Bendar Bidakhsh’s Record,” co-directed by Sanaz Pourdashti and Mehdi Vahidrosh, will begin its second round of performances on June 9th at Labkhand Theater Complex.

The play “Bendar Bidakhsh’s Record,” written by Bahram Beyzai and produced by Sajjad Afsharian, which was previously staged in April and May of this year at the City Theater Complex’s Performance Workshop, will start its second run on June 9th at Labkhand Theater Complex.

Hassan Fazli and Mehdi Vahidrosh are the actors in this play.

New Plays Introduced at Noufel Lochateau Mansion

The plays “The Secret of Conquerors’ Defeat,” “Recovery,” and the play reading “The Magic of the Mirror” will be staged at Noufel Lochateau Mansion.

According to the public relations of Noufel Lochateau Mansion, the plays “The Secret of Conquerors’ Defeat” directed by Navid Khaddam Abbasi, “Recovery” directed by Amir Mohammad Dashtgoli, “We Need a Simple Killer” directed by Maryam Amini, and the play reading “The Magic of the Mirror” directed by Shirin Yahoo will be performed at Noufel Lochateau Mansion.

The Secret of Conquerors’ Defeat,” written by the late Akbar Yadegari, produced by Maziar Zahmatkesh, and directed by Navid Khaddam Abbasi, begins its performances on June 7th at 7:30 PM for one hour at Noufel Lochateau Mansion.

Mostafa Ebrahimi, Maryam Peyvand Heidari, Matin Tavakoli, Reyhaneh Rahimi, and Maziar Zahmatkesh are the actors performing in this play.

The synopsis of this work reads: “Wars continue even after they end.” “Recovery,” written by Mohammad Farhadi, produced and directed by Amir Mohammad Dashtgoli, will be staged from June 8th at 6:00 PM, starring Ali Dolatyari, Alireza Mohammadnejad, Mobin Joneidipour, Ali Shirpey, and Behnam Mohammadzadeh.

The synopsis of this work reads: “Ultimately, all moments are one in the end, so now is eternity.”

The Magic of the Mirror,” written by Farzaneh Farhadifard and Shirin Yahoo, produced and directed by Shirin Yahoo, is a play reading that will host audiences for only one night in two sessions at 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM on Saturday, June 14th.

Cinema and television actress Behnoosh Bakhtiari, along with nearly 38 child and teenage actors, are featured in this work, whose synopsis reads: “Are you ready for a magical journey full of legends??? Where??? The Academy of Legends…”

The play “We Need a Simple Killer,” written and directed by Maryam Amini, is another performance at this theater complex that has been extended for three nights and will host audiences until June 9th at 9:15 PM.

The synopsis of this work states: “What does one want from life?! I have everything. I feel great, I’m excellent… but I don’t want to live anymore.”

“Fin Jin” Northern Iran Tour Begins / First Performances in Qazvin and Rasht

The play “Fin Jin,” written and directed by Abolfazl Haji Alikhani and produced by Mahmoud Maddahi, will go to Qazvin and Rasht at the start of its northern Iran tour.

According to the media consultant, the play “Fin Jin,” written and directed by Abolfazl Haji Alikhani and produced by Mahmoud Maddahi, with the organization of Mohammad Javad Asefi, Babak Feyzipour, and Mehdi Hooshiar, will begin its tour of the northern cities of the country, with Qazvin and Rasht being the first performance destinations for this theatrical work.

The play “Fin Jin,” starring Abolfazl Haji Alikhani, Hamid Arab, Roozbeh Akhtari, Morteza Alidadi, Marjan Ghamari, Mohsen Zarrabadipour, and Hossein Mirzayian, will be staged from June 8th to 12th at Qazvin City Theater Hall, and then at Rasht Central Hall. After these two stages of performances, the play will head to Amol, Sari, and finally return to Rasht.

Second Round of “Yellow Season” Performances at Sahneh Abi

The play “Yellow Season,” written, directed, and produced by Zari Emad, will begin its second round of performances on Monday, June 8th at 8:00 PM for 65 minutes at Sahneh Abi Theater.

Zari Emad, Masoud Baharloo, Mohammad Reza Fasihi Nia, Niloofar Shokri, Alireza Owhadi, Mahyar Fallahi, Mohammad Reza Owhadi, Iliya Feyzi, Razvaneh Tousinejad, Melina Hasanzadeh, Nika Doostalian, Kimiya Bagheri, Setayesh Ahoonbar, and Niaiesh Shaerpour perform in this work.

This theatrical work will be performed with the voice of Hemmat Moumiwand.

The play “Yellow Season” portrays the problems and issues related to youth in five episodes in the form of a drama. Theft, addiction, social anomalies, the boundary between virtual space and reality, unmotivated conflicts and tensions, and Afghan nationals are the subjects of the stories in this play.

Extension of Three Plays at the Center for Theater Production and Puppet Theater of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults

The performances of three plays at the Center for Theater Production and Puppet Theater of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults have been extended until June 25th, 2025.

According to the General Department of Public Relations and International Affairs of the Institute, “Duck Road” written and directed by Farhad Esmaeili, “Vanoosh and the Mountain” written by Shahram Karami and directed by Mehdi Ghaleh, and “Darkness” written and directed by Ghazaleh Ebadi, are the three plays currently running at the Institute’s Theater Center.

Accordingly, the play “Duck Road” is about a mother duck and her duckling who are living a good life on a farm and go to a nearby spring every day for a swim, until road construction machines build a road through the farm, and the passing cars prevent the mother duck and her duckling from reaching the spring…

Also, the play “Vanoosh and the Mountain” narrates the friendship between a lamb and a wolf cub. While playing with beautiful butterflies in the forest, the lamb realizes that she has strayed far from the farm, and in the meantime, she meets Koohestan, a kind wolf cub, and this acquaintance brings new adventures for them…

In the play “Darkness,” Parsa, a young boy who is afraid of the dark, wishes for darkness to disappear from the world. But after darkness vanishes and perpetual light takes over, Parsa realizes the importance and positive aspects of darkness and begins a journey to bring it back.

It should be noted that the play “Duck Road” is performed at 5:00 PM in Ayineh Plateau, the play “Vanoosh and the Mountain” at 6:15 PM in Boostan Hall, and the play “Darkness” at 7:10 PM in Golestan Hall of the Center for Theater Production and Puppet Theater of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, located in Laleh Park, Tehran.
