Sarah Jessica Parker Confirms Decades-Old Rumor: “I Did Date Nicolas Cage”

According to cinemadrame News Agency, Sarah Jessica Parker confirmed a two-decade-old rumor in a new interview with Andy Cohen. The 60-year-old actress responded affirmatively when asked if she had a romantic relationship with Nicolas Cage, her co-star in Honeymoon in Vegas.

As the Emmy-winning Sex and the City star explained that her husband, Matthew Broderick, is her soulmate, the host asked, “Did you date Nic Cage?” Parker replied, “Yes, I did,” putting an end to decades of speculation.

Cage told E! News this Monday: “I was interested in Sarah, but I don’t think I passed the mom test. I remember having dinner with her and her mother at the Russian Tea Room, and I don’t know if it was because of my blue leather motorcycle outfit (which I still have) or my sinus infection, but I never heard from her again.”

Parker married Broderick in 1997, five years after filming Honeymoon in Vegas. They have since had three children: James, 22, and twin daughters Tabitha and Marion, 16.

Cage has been married five times, most recently in 2021 to Riko Shibata. Their first child was born in August 2022.
