Stranger Things Writer Debunks Rumors of Three-Hour Finale

According to CinemaDrame news agency, Ross Duffer, co-showrunner of the hit series “Stranger Things,” has responded to circulating information about the runtime of the final season’s episodes, refuting claims of a three-hour finale. Last week, an image shared on social media suggested the final episode would run for approximately three hours, but Duffer states this is inaccurate.
The image purported that Season 5 episodes would range from two hours and five minutes to three hours. The presence of a “Netflix Exclusive” tag led some fans to believe the image was authentic, but Duffer took to Instagram to write, “Not even close to accurate.”
The fifth season of “Stranger Things” will feature returning cast members including David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Winona Ryder, Maya Hawke, Sadie Sink, Cara Buono, Joe Keery, Charlie Heaton, Brett Gelman, Natalia Dyer, Jamie Campbell Bower, Gaten Matarazzo, and Finn Wolfhard. Additionally, new actors, such as Linda Hamilton from The Terminator, have joined the cast for this season.
Season 5’s story is set in the fall of 1987, one year after the events of Season 4. It will unfold over eight episodes. Hawkins is terrified by the opening of “rifts,” and the protagonists must unite for one goal: to discover and destroy “Vecna.”
The first part of the final “Stranger Things” episodes will be released on November 27th (Azar 6, 1404 in the Persian calendar), the second part on December 26th (Day 5, 1404), and the third part on January 1st (Day 11, 1404).
