The documentary “Homa” won the Special Award at the American Festival
According to Cinemadrame, quoting from the public relations office, the documentary “Homa,” directed by Galareh Abbasi, produced by Dorsa Shafiei, and distributed by Raft Films, received the Special Award at the 20th Global Film Competition during its fourth international appearance.
The Accolade Global Film Competition annually awards its humanitarian prize for dedicated services to social justice, animal welfare, political, environmental, health, disability issues, or conscious awareness.
The documentary “Homa” tells the story of Homa Homavandi, a confident woman working at a drug rehabilitation camp, whose life challenges and limitations do not prevent her from participating in the social sphere.
