The exhibitions at the Contemporary Art Museum have been extended.

The “Eye to Eye” (Portraits in Modern and Contemporary Art) exhibition and the “A Review of the Life and Works of Marco Grigorian” exhibition (on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the artist’s birth) have been extended until the end of Sunday, January 14th, at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art.

According to Cinemadrame, the “Eye to Eye” exhibition, focusing on portraits in modern and contemporary art, has been extended due to the recent holidays in Tehran and the enthusiastic reception from visitors. It will now run until Sunday, January 14th (coinciding with the conclusion of the Marco Grigorian exhibition).

The “Eye to Eye” exhibition features more than 120 works, selected from the Iranian and international collections of the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art, with a research-oriented approach. It includes paintings, sculptures, and photographs by artists such as: Francis Bacon, Lautrec, Picasso, Vincent van Gogh, Andy Warhol, Giacometti, James Ensor, Monet, Jim Dine, Robert Rauschenberg, Fernand Léger, Joan Miró, Kamal-ol-Molk, Bahman Mohasses, Marco Grigorian, Mahmoud Javadipour, Ahmad Esfandiari, Jaza Tabetabai, Kambiz Derambakhsh, Gholamhossein Nami, Mehdi Sahabi, Farshid Maleki, Kourosh Golnari, and more.

Additionally, the “A Review of the Life and Works of Marco Grigorian” exhibition, held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his birth, gathers and organizes works from five key periods of his career, from expressionist paintings to works made from clay and earth, with a scholarly and historical perspective.

Visitors can explore both exhibitions, “Eye to Eye” in five galleries and “A Review of the Life and Works of Marco Grigorian” in three galleries, until January 14th (except Tuesdays), from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art.
