The Jalal Literary Prize Announces Its Call for Submissions

The Call for Submissions for the 17th Jalal Al-Ahmad Literary Prize

The call for submissions for the 17th edition of the Jalal Al-Ahmad Literary Prize has been published by the secretariat of the event.

According to cinemadrame, quoting the Public Relations of the House of Books and Literature of Iran, the 17th edition of the Jalal Al-Ahmad Literary Prize invites authors, researchers, creators, and publishers to submit their works in four categories: “Long Fiction and Novels,” “Short Story Collections,” “Literary Criticism,” and “Documentary Writing.”

According to the call, submitted books must have been published for the first time in 2023, with approval from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Iran, and must fall under one of the four mentioned categories.

Authors, researchers, creators, and publishers can submit four copies of their works to the secretariat of the Jalal Al-Ahmad Literary Prize by completing the physical application form available at jalal.ketab.ir and sending the copies to the following address: Tehran, Mozaffar Brothers South Street, Khaje Nasir Alley, No. 2, Saray-e-Ahl-e-Qalam Building, 4th floor, Postal code 1315773411, by October 7, 2024.
