The latest condition of Mohammad Ali Movahed in the hospital.

Mohammad Ali Movahed, the writer, translator, jurist, editor, and member of the Academy of Persian Language and Literature, is hospitalized.

Ali Dehbashi, the editor of Bukhara Magazine, confirmed this news to ISNA, stating that his general condition is improving, and they hope he will be discharged from the hospital in the coming days with the doctor’s approval.

He reminded that due to recent air pollution, many scholars, including Fathollah Mojtabaei and others, have faced respiratory issues.

Mohammad Ali Movahed, born on May 23, 1923, in Tabriz, is a writer, translator, jurist, editor, and researcher. Some of his notable works include the translation of “The Travelogue of Ibn Battuta,” the editing and commentary on “Hadiqat al-Haqiqah” by Abul-Fath Muhammad ibn Sheikh al-Islam Ahmad Jam, the translation of “Justice and Energy” by Ivan Ilyich, “Our Oil and Its Legal Issues,” editing and commentary on “Khamy az Sharab Rabani: Selected Articles of Shams,” “Green Garden: Discourses on Shams and Rumi,” the translation and commentary on “Fusus al-Hikam” by Ibn Arabi, editing “Risaleh fi Manaqib Khodavandgar” by Fereydoun bin Ahmad Sepahsalar, “In the Air of Truth and Justice,” the editing and introduction of “Masnavi-ye Manavi,” “Tamaulat (Essays and Speeches),” and more.
