The play The Tortoise and the Hare is being performed on stage.

According to cinemadrame, and citing the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of the Center for the Development of Children’s Theater and Puppet Theater, the play The Tortoise and the Hare will be performed in June and July 2024 at the Mirror Hall of the Center for the Production of Theater and Puppet Theater of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, specifically for children and toddlers.
This performance, commissioned by the Center for the Production of Theater and Puppet Theater, is based on an ancient fable, The Tortoise and the Hare.
The play is written by Manoochehr Akbarloo and directed by Saeed Sadeghi. Other team members include: actress, puppeteer, and set designer Maryam Akbari; music arranger and composer Fereidoun Navaei; set designer Alireza Hosseinpour; assistant director Parmida Azizi Nejad; stage manager Parmis Azizi Nejad; and public relations by Mina Bahrami Tabr.
The Tortoise and the Hare is based on the symbolic story of the tortoise and the hare, which represents the idea of slow and steady progress in society. However, in this play, in addition to using these symbols, the story also incorporates other stages where, in the end, children are taught the importance of collaboration and teamwork.
The play aims to use simple, creative set designs and familiar puppets to create a performance that allows any child to experience and engage in play at home, facilitating easy imaginative play.
The Tortoise and the Hare will be staged from June to July 2024, from Sunday to Friday at 16:30 at the Mirror Hall of the Center for the Production of Theater and Puppet Theater, located in Laleh Park.
