Three Iranian books in an honorary list.

Several books by Iranian authors, translators, and illustrators have been included in the Honor List of the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY).
According to cinemadrame, the Children’s Book Council’s Award Committee has selected several books from the past two years’ shortlisted works to be included in the 2024 Honor List of the IBBY.
In the author category, “Hamaseye-ye Andaron, Patash Khavargar” written by Arman Aryan and published by Ofogh, in the translation category, “Gorg-e Masei, Tabestan-e Aval” translated by the renowned Nasser Ghasari and published by Parian, and in the illustration category, “To Yek Jahangardi” written by Shahrzad Shahrjordi and illustrated by Ghazal Fathollahi, published by Fatemi, have been selected for this prestigious list.
The IBBY Honor List is a biennial selection of outstanding and recently published works that aims to honor authors, illustrators, and translators from member countries. The selection of these works is made solely by the national branches.
Books featured in this list have been displayed at the 39th IBBY Congress on Children’s Literature.
