Tim Burton and Monica Bellucci at the Globo d’Oro Awards Ceremony

According to Cinemadrame, the 64th Globo d’Oro Awards ceremony, also known as the “Golden Globe of Italy,” was held this Wednesday in Rome with the presence of Monica Bellucci and Tim Burton. During this event, 59-year-old Bellucci received an honorary award.
Burton, in one of the few moments he appeared before photographers, kissed Bellucci. The couple had previously walked the red carpet together at the 18th Rome Film Festival last October.
Bellucci confirmed her relationship with Burton in June of the previous year, saying, “What can I say… first of all, I am happy to have met this man. It’s one of those encounters that rarely happens in life… I know this man, I love him, and then I meet this director, and a new adventure begins.”
The director of Edward Scissorhands and Alice in Wonderland first briefly met Bellucci on the red carpet at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival. More than 15 years later, Bellucci presented an honorary award to Burton at the Lumière Festival in France. Four months later, Bellucci and Burton were seen together in Madrid. Burton has given Bellucci a role in Beetlejuice 2, which will open the upcoming Venice Film Festival.
