Trailer for Dev Patel’s Rabbit Trap

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, the first trailer for Rabbit Trap, starring Dev Patel, has been unveiled following its screening at the Sundance Film Festival. Rabbit Trap marks the feature debut of Bryn Chainey and is set for release in September.
Set in 1976, the story follows avant-garde musician Daphne, played by Rosy McEwen, and her husband Darcy, played by Dev Patel, who move into a remote cottage in Wales. The tape recorders and oscillators that occupy Daphne’s time, along with the sounds Darcy captures in the forest, draw the attention of a mysterious rabbit hunter, played by Jade Croot, whose presence disrupts their fragile peace.
Andreas Johannesen, whose credits include serving as camera operator on The Worst Person in the World, is the cinematographer for Rabbit Trap, shooting the film on 35mm. Colombian experimental musician Lucrecia Dalt composed the score, while Graham Reznick handled sound design.
Rabbit Trap will be released in U.S. cinemas on September 12.
