Trailer for Shelby Oaks Directed by American YouTuber Chris Stuckmann

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Neon Studios has unveiled the first trailer for Shelby Oaks, written and directed by American YouTuber Chris Stuckmann. The film premiered at the Fantasia Festival and will be released across the United States in October. Just last week, Neon released mysterious posters featuring the character Riley from Shelby Oaks.

The story of Shelby Oaks centers on a woman named Mia, played by Camille Sullivan (Hunter Hunter), who is searching for her missing sister Riley, portrayed by Sarah Durn (Where the Crawdads Sing). Riley, who had been investigating paranormal activities, has now disappeared. Brendan Sexton III, known for Don’t Breathe 2, also stars in the film.

In 2022, Stuckmann launched a crowdfunding campaign that raised over $1.4 million for the project in less than a month. He is known on YouTube for his reviews of films, television, and video games, and has published several books. Stuckmann, who appeared at Comic-Con last week and stated that cinema “saved his life,” previously faced criticism a few years ago when he said he preferred not to express negative opinions.

Shelby Oaks is set for release on October 3.
