Trump Threatens: “I Will Revoke Rosie O’Donnell’s Citizenship”
According to cinemadrame News Agency, Donald Trump announced on Truth Social that he is “seriously looking into” revoking Rosie O’Donnell’s citizenship. O’Donnell, who was born in New York, moved to Ireland and has been vehemently criticizing Trump and his policies through numerous TikTok videos since early 2025.
The former U.S. President stated: “Considering that Rosie O’Donnell is not acting in the best interests of our great country, I am seriously considering revoking her citizenship. She is a threat to humanity, and she should stay in the beautiful country of Ireland, if they accept her.”
Based on the Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution, the president cannot revoke the citizenship of individuals born in the country. Trump has repeatedly tried to end “birthright” citizenship through executive orders, but judges have blocked him.
O’Donnell had previously said on TikTok: “I miss my other kids. I miss my friends. I miss a lot of things about life back home, but I’m trying to find a home in this beautiful country, and when all citizens in America have equal rights, we’ll go back.”
The actress from “A League of Their Own” and “Beautiful Girls” continued to criticize Trump in the following months, saying he had “endangered this country with terrible decisions.” She claimed that cutting the budget of the “National Weather Service” led to human deaths in the Texas floods.
Following Trump’s threatening message, O’Donnell reacted on TikTok, writing: “Ladies and gentlemen the president is a disgrace to everything this country stands for – he is a danger to our nation – a psycho and unmedicated criminal who lied to America for a decade on ‘The Apprentice’ – thank you Mark Burnett [show producer] – and you fell for it – so sad – if you grew up in New York like me you would know what a complete idiot he is – add me to the list of those who will constantly oppose him – America or never – my insignificant messages from Dublin bother him – go arrest brown people you malicious pedophile.”
In May, Trump had ordered an investigation into another one of his staunch critics, Bruce Springsteen. He claims that Kamala Harris bought Springsteen’s support in the 2024 election campaign with money. The singer had called Trump “corrupt, incompetent, and a traitor” during one of his concerts in Europe.
