Trump’s Involvement Traced in the Killing of Oscar-Winning No Other Land Crew Member by Israeli Settler

According to Cinemadrame News Agency, Odeh Al-Hathalin, a Palestinian journalist and political activist who collaborated with Basel Adra and Yuval Abraham on the Oscar-winning documentary No Other Land, was killed by an Israeli settler in the West Bank.
Abraham confirmed on X (formerly Twitter) that Al-Hathalin was shot and killed by an Israeli settler. The director stated that the killer has been identified as a man named Yinon Levi, who had been sanctioned by the UK and the European Union but whose sanctions were lifted by Donald Trump a few months ago.
Israeli media have reported that Levi is under house arrest on charges related to the activist’s killing and that investigations are ongoing.
Adra wrote on X:
“It’s hard to believe. My dear friend Odeh was slaughtered tonight. He was standing in front of the community center in his village when a settler opened fire, shot him in the chest, and took his life. This is how Israel erases us—taking a life each time.”
Hamdan Bilal, another director of the film, was attacked by settlers at his home in late March, and after heading to the hospital, was arrested and tortured by Israeli soldiers.
The French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs condemned the killing in a statement posted on X.
