“Twenty-One Weeks Later” from Spain won an award / “Do You Think You Know Who I Am?” will be reviewed.

According to Cinemadrame, the short film “Twenty-One Weeks Later”, directed by Nasrin Mohammadi Pour, won the Special Jury Prize at the 11th edition of the Look Taboo Film Festival in Spain. The 11th edition of the festival took place from December 5 to 14, 2023, in Zaragoza, Spain. “Twenty-One Weeks Later” competed with 55 other short films and won the Special Jury Prize. The prize on behalf of Nasrin Mohammadi Pour was received by three festival judges.
Previously, “Twenty-One Weeks Later” won the Best Asian Short Film award at the 28th Busan International Film Festival in South Korea and was screened at the 32nd Raindance Film Festival in the UK. The short film also won the Special Jury Prize at the 31st Golden Boll International Film Festival in Adana last month.
The international distribution and screening of “Twenty-One Weeks Later” is managed by Cinerama Company, led by Neshat Bagheri.
The cast of the film includes: Benafsheh Riazi, Leila Hosseinzadeh, Soudabeh Bahraminejad, and Parisa Asgari.
Screening and Review of “Do You Think You Know Who I Am?” at Arasbaran Cultural Center
The feature film “Do You Think You Know Who I Am?” directed by Safy Nebbou, a 2019 Belgian production in the drama and romance genre, will be screened on Sunday, December 24, 2023, at 6:00 PM at the Arasbaran Cultural Center Amphitheater. Following the screening, the film will be reviewed by psychologist Mohammad Ali Hosseinian and cinema expert and instructor Kourosh Jahed.
The film features actors such as Juliette Binoche, Nicole Garcia, François Civil, Charles Berling, and Jules Holpijn, among others.

“Novjanin” Short Film Selected for Lantern of Imagination Festival
The short film “Novjanin”, written and directed by Mohammadreza Ganjkhahlo, has been selected for the Lantern of Imagination Student Festival. The film, which was shot in the colorful mountains around the city of Zanjan, had previously been selected for the Omid Student Festival.
The description of the work reads: “Nature is often pregnant with new solutions you are searching for.”
Mohammadreza Ganjkhahlo, the writer and director of this short film, holds a master’s degree in directing from Tarbiat Modares University. He has previously participated with his short film “Golr” in prestigious national and international festivals.
In “Novjanin”, the actors are Meysam Damanzeh, Samaneh Alavi, and Mehdi Taghizadeh. The festival distribution of the short film “Novjanin” will be managed by “Karadras Film.”
