“Twenty-One Weeks Later” Honored in Ecuador
According to cinemadrame News Agency, the short film “Twenty-One Weeks Later” (Bist-o Yek Hafteh Ba’d), directed by Nasrin Mohammadpour, received a special jury mention at the 24th Cuenca Film Festival in Ecuador.
International Recognition
Directed and produced by Nasrin Mohammadpour, “Twenty-One Weeks Later” continued its global presence at the 24th Cuenca Film Festival in Ecuador, where it earned a special commendation from the jury. The festival, originally scheduled from June 25th to 30th in Santa Ana de Cuenca, Ecuador, was held with a slight delay of a few days.
Prior to this latest accolade, “Twenty-One Weeks Later” had already won the Special Jury Prize at the 11th Taboo Film Festival in Spain, Best Asian Short Film at the 28th Busan International Film Festival in South Korea, and the Special Jury Award at the 31st International Golden Boll Film Festival Adana.
The film has also been screened at numerous other international festivals, including the 32nd Raindance International Film Festival in the UK, the 57th Hof International Film Festival in Germany, the 17th Santo Domingo Film Festival in the Dominican Republic, and the 9th Santander Film Festival in Colombia.
